32-year-old Tanya is married and a mother of two boys. Her husband has been so absorbed in his studies at Law School that he just doesn't have time for his wife's romantic needs. Their love life is non-existent, and Tanya is frankly sexually frustrated and begins to think her husband may be fooling around with her with one of the young coeds he sees in class. Over Halloween her husband takes the boys to his parents to go Trick or Treating because he feels the neighborhood is safer, leaving Tanya at home because of her job.

Her husband knows since they have been together Tanya thinks Halloween is a special and magical time of year and still leaves her at home alone. The stress of her married life begins to take its toll on her and she begins to look frazzled. So much so that her boss, Courtney a few years younger than Tanya asks her how she is feeling and is there something bothering her. That opens the floodgates and Tanya confesses her married life is not as it should be.

Surprisingly, Courtney is quite sympathetic and calms her sobbing employee down, then as if by magic, she asks Tanya to attend a huge Halloween party with her to take her mind of her domestic problems. Even purchasing Tanya an elaborate costume. The party is like an elixir for Tanya, and she soon forgets all her problems and at the end of the evening, she asks Courtney to sleep over to prolong the magic of the evening. Courtney accepts her offer and the magic of Halloween takes over.
