APPARITIONS OF DESPICABLE DEEDS

Two teenage high school girls, Steph and Debra, find themselves targets of hate and ridicule because of their sexual lifestyle.

Steph and her family have moved to a small town deep in the Appalachian country. The small town with small minds immediately shuns the new girl. She is seen as an outsider, or a pariah, and something worse, a lesbian.

Debra, a lifelong resident of the tow, is shunned also, due solely to her homosexuality thus making her an outcast. Little wonder that Steph and Debra become friends, then best friends then lovers. Each tries to help the other through the rough times be it at home with their abusive parents or at school with the cluster of bullies.

The two of them plan to spend Halloween night together in a cemetery, away from drunken parental anger, senseless brutality, and the cliquish students who only wish them harm.

All Hallows Eve draws to a close and the two lovers decide to return home, hoping their parents will be asleep so they can slip in undetected. Unfortunately, neither girl made it home that Halloween night.
