A shy teen Mysty has the power to control minds. At first, it was just a novelty that she used to amuse herself. By the time she was in college, she realized she could use it for her own intimate satisfaction. It proved to be the ultimate power for her since she was attracted to other girls and was too embarrassed to come out.

Her powers developed and they became her major source of income along with an outlet for sexual gratification. To test her skills she read the crowd at a huge party in the Hamptons and perused the various attractive women, and she found Kara and Layne to be just the perfect subjects. One had just gone through the breakup of a relationship and the other was a homophobic female suffering from a bad lesbian experience.
