Two women, Mikki and Brandy do their best to survive in the post-apocalyptic earth of the 22nd century in a settlement called Oasis.

Mikki and Brandy have lived in Oasis all their lives. They fell in love living in Oasis, a small settlement deep in the desert wasteland left by devastating a nuclear world war. In this apocalyptic world, everyone has to pull their weight. Both girls have job responsibilities in the community. Brandy is a part of the security team and Mikki is part of the roving supply team that searches among the rubble and destruction left by the war, for food, water, medicines, and other sundry items needed by the settlement.

On a rare day when Brandy accompanies Mikki on her search for supplies, the two girls hear the terrible sounds of bombs and guns echoing through the desert. Seemingly coming from the beloved Oasis. By the time the two get back to their settlement all they find is death and devastation inflicted by a marauding band of flesh-eaters. Their friends are dead, and everything of value has been taken or destroyed by the invading band.

Their home was demolished and possessions were all taken the girls head out for a new place to settle away from the memories of their former home. Their trek leads them through hostile terrain with unfriendly settlers not willing to share what they have or help the homeless pair. Escaping the wrath of one settlement by the skin of their teeth the girls did find the unfriendly settlements water supply and headed for the safety of the desert wasteland in hopes of finding shelter and food. Will it work out for the lovers?
