FEASTING ON FORBIDDEN FRUIT
Marnette and Fiona are lovers and struggle each day to survive in a post-apocalyptic world taken over by aliens. Their situation forces them to smuggle supplies and other essentials into the country from the Great Lakes at the risk of death.
The girls head to the Great Lakes in hopes of meeting up with a freighter with their essentials. In addition to supplies, they are hoping to get the necessary supplies to begin growing their own food to reduce the number of trips they need to make through the occupied territory. Completing the transfer loaded up and ready to head back to their remote hideout.
Unfortunately for the pair, they run into a band of alien sympathizers called the Unsettlers and find themselves in an altercation and barely escaping with their lives. They leave one gang member unconscious and are able to flee the rest and safely leave the dangerous area around the Great Lakes and begin growing figs.
