The Eternal Patient

An extremely agitated and stressed-out patient arrives at her Doctor’s appointment, demands a complete physical, and relates a most unbelievable story as the reason for her exam.

Dr. Roberts meets with a new female patient, who is given the code name MLT82. The doctor believes the patient is on the verge of a nervous breakdown or is suffering from severe delusions or flights of an overactive imagination

MLT82 claims to be a survivor of the Revolutionary War and more. Her claims are disturbing, but the more she reveals the more the doctor begins to change his mind about her condition. Her story has more detail than anyone, other than someone from the time periods she describes, could possibly know.

The story she reveals is a tale of magical elixirs, and of a mystical talisman. She actually produces the talisman to the doctor claiming it is these things that brought about her extended life, along with a unique correlation of sex to war. The tale is outlandish, and whether it's true or false, Dr. Roberts realizes the MLT82 is convinced it’s all real.

When Patient MLT82 and her magical talisman inexplicably disappear Dr. Roberts believes it may be time to rewrite the medical books.
