Erin is a graduate student. She is also trapped in a zombie apocalypse of a grand scale.  As time passes, and friends die,  she fears she is the last woman on earth.

The terrifying zombie apocalypse arrived with no preamble. And Erin, home from grad school, watches as her parents succumb to the vile infection of the zombie marauders, and finds she is helpless to help them. The devastation continues and there seems to be no end in sight. It’s all Erin can do to keep focused on day-to-day survival. All around her, she sees her friends and neighbors perish at the hands of bloodless monsters. The dwindling human population soon leads Erin to believe she is most likely the last woman alive. Resigned to that thought she finds a suitable location sets up defenses and supplies and does what she can to survive.

 She takes her Harley out in search of supplies and while getting gasoline at an abandoned gas station, she first hears and then sees a teenage girl, Cinnamon, trying to escape the zombie menace. The girl is trapped in a tree when  Erin arrives just in time. She decapitates two of the predators trying to get to the teen and rushes her away to safety. Erin takes Cinnamon back to her secure hideout cleans her up feeds her and spends some time getting to know her. Both women are starved for human companionship and that starvation moves on to lust and the two make up for lost time in regards to the absence of sexual attention.

The world is all rosy to them both, they have each other and feel safe having the human companionship. That is until Cinnamon gets careless and wanders out of the security of Erin's compound and is ambushed by the ubiquitous zombie horde. Erin finds her lover dead and reluctantly decides to move on. She doesn’t feel safe with Cinnamon gone and cannot live with the memories of Cinnamon she associates with the compound. Erin moves on, searching for a better haven,  now certain she is again the last woman on Earth.

The recruits are brought together and the lead scientist Dr. Stone explains in detail what the participants will undergo. The plan is to expose them to a virus that will alter the sexual orientation of all the test subjects. The belief is that these changes will go a long way in facilitating the move to Utopian society.

The initial experiment lasted less than a month and when it is determined that the experiment is a success, Dr. Stone unveils her master plan of sending the women from the experiment all over the world dispensing the virus. Then each participant is given a QA check on someone handpicked by Dr Stone. This check is to verify the virus works as designed. That is where Eve meets up with her target Kat. Kat’s reactions are quick and Eve reports the experiment is a total and unequivocal success.

The Trip is not a direct path to their destination. They must travel in blocks of time due to the parameters of time travel, and the unique bio-fuel the machine requires. Things looked bleak if their first stop was a premonition of the entire trip.

 Trying to get to 18th century Russia the duo miss the mark by a year and a thousand miles. Landing in the southern Balkan peninsula and encounter a lost tribe of Amazons, with rituals and customs that cause the time travelers more than a twenty-four hour very erotic delay. The delay nearly costs them their lives before they narrowly escape capture and charge back to mid-1st century Britain. The time machine's erratic behavior, allowed the temporal travelers to skip at least three stops to reach their destination sooner than expected.

 Once the women have landed, they are met by a mysterious figure dressed in a hooded gray robe. Uncertain of her intentions, Connie and Paige chase her away, only to find themselves captured by the queen of the Iceni tribes. The most ferocious of the  Celtic tribes, who also happens to be their lost colleague Lita Carson. They find their friend from the 21st century unwilling to return with them and even sentence them both to death the next morning. Things look bleak for Connie and Paige, captured by the Celts and miles from their time machine will they be able to change Lita's mind or possibly escape, as time is running out?
